How We Make it

🌿 At Krafted by Blanco, every product is made with care, patience, and a touch of love. We believe skincare should be simple, honest, and affordable — made with the same quality ingredients as the luxury brands, just without the luxury price tag. 💛Below is a peek behind the scenes — how each product is crafted by hand, step by step.

The Story of Our Infused Oils & Butters

Our infused oils and butters begin with patience, intention, and a deep respect for the plants we use. Each infusion starts with carefully selected herbs and botanicals, chosen for their unique benefits — from calming and soothing the skin to deeply moisturizing and protecting it.

We slowly infuse these botanicals into rich, natural oils and butters right in our studio. This isn’t a rushed process — it takes time for the warmth and stillness to draw out the plant’s natural color, scent, and nutrients. Over days or weeks, the oils transform, becoming golden with herbal goodness and filled with the gentle power of nature.

Every batch is crafted in small quantities to ensure quality and consistency. Because we make our infusions in-house, we know exactly what goes into them — pure ingredients, no shortcuts, and no artificial fragrances or dyes.

When you use our products, you’re not just moisturizing your skin — you’re experiencing the slow art of plant infusion, a tradition of care and connection passed through time. Each jar and bottle carries a story of nature, patience, and love.

How We Make Hydrosols

Every drop of our hydrosol tells a story — a slow, patient process that begins with the plants themselves. We start with fresh herbs and botanicals, often the same ones we use in our infused oils and butters. Each one is chosen for its unique aroma and skin-loving benefits.

The process begins when we carefully distill these botanicals in-house using steam. As the steam passes through the plants, it captures their natural essence — the delicate waters that carry their healing properties and gentle fragrance. This steam then cools and condenses into what we call hydrosol: a soft, aromatic water infused with the true soul of the plant.

Unlike essential oils, hydrosols are subtle and soothing — perfect for sensitive skin and daily use. Because we make them ourselves, we control every step of the process, from the quality of the herbs to the purity of the water. Even our distilled water is made in-house, ensuring that every hydrosol is as fresh, clean, and genuine as possible.

Each bottle represents time, care, and intention — a reflection of nature’s beauty, captured drop by drop.

How We Make Our Lotion

Our lotions are created with the same care and purpose that go into every one of our products — each batch a gentle balance of nature and science.

Most lotions begin with plain water. Ours begin differently. We replace water with handcrafted hydrosols, fresh aloe vera, nourishing teas, or creamy milks — transforming a simple base into something deeply enriching. Each choice brings its own benefits: hydrosols carry the pure essence of the plants we distill in-house; aloe vera soothes and hydrates; teas deliver antioxidants and calm; and milks infuse the skin with softening vitamins and proteins.

To this foundation, we blend in skin-loving oils and butters for moisture, natural clays for color and mineral balance, and pure essential oils for a subtle, comforting scent that makes every application a sensory experience. Each batch also receives a vitamin boost — from glow-enhancing Vitamin C to protective Vitamin E — giving your skin that healthy, luminous finish.

Every ingredient has a purpose, and every step is done by hand. As the oils, butters, hydrosols, teas, or milks come together, they form a creamy blend that feels luxurious yet light — designed to melt into your skin, not sit on top of it.

We also believe in safety and shelf stability, which is why each lotion includes a gentle, skin-safe preservative. It’s an essential step that protects your product from bacteria and mold, ensuring it stays fresh, clean, and safe to use — especially since our ingredients are so natural and nutrient-rich.

Each jar of lotion is more than just skincare — it’s the result of mindful craftsmanship, from the herbs we distill to the final creamy texture that meets your skin. A little science, a lot of nature, and plenty of love. 🌿

How We Make Our Body Scrubs

Every jar starts with a quiet moment — oils warming slowly, sugar or salt glistening in a bowl, and herbs that smell like sunshine after rain. We mix our scrubs the same way you’d cook a favorite meal — by hand, in small batches, and with ingredients we actually know by name.

We begin with pure oils, many of them infused with herbs and botanicals we’ve dried ourselves. The oils soak up the goodness of flowers and leaves for weeks, turning rich with color and scent. Then we blend them with fine sugar or salt, a touch of vitamin E, and sometimes a hint of menthol or vanilla — just enough to make your skin (and senses) light up.

We never rush this part. We stir until the texture feels just right — soft, creamy, and whipped enough to glide over skin without dripping away. Each batch gets scooped into clean jars, labeled by hand, and set aside to rest before heading out to you.

It’s not just skincare; it’s a ritual of care and patience. Every scrub carries a little of that calm energy — from the herbs we infuse to the final swirl of the spoon before it’s sealed.

How We Make Our Hair Mask

Our hair mask begins the same way all our creations do — with time, patience, and plants. We start by infusing natural oils and butters with herbs known to strengthen and nourish hair. For weeks, they rest together — sunlight gently warming the jars — until the oils are rich with color and the scent of botanicals fills the air.

Once the infusion is ready, we melt and blend in butters like shea or tallow for deep conditioning and light oils like avocado or almond to help with shine and softness. A little apple cider vinegar balances the scalp and helps smooth the hair cuticle, while a touch of vitamin E keeps everything fresh and full of life.

We whip the blend until it’s smooth and creamy — never heavy, never greasy — just enough to coat the strands and melt right in. Each jar is filled by hand and labeled with care, ready to bring moisture and strength back to tired, dry hair.

It’s more than a mask; it’s a way of restoring balance. Each batch carries the energy of the herbs and the patience of the process — so every time you use it, your hair gets a little more love.

How We Make Our Soap

Our soaps begin the same way all our creations do — with intention, patience, and pure ingredients. We blend nourishing oils and butters like olive, coconut, and shea, each chosen for the way they care for skin. Together, they form the foundation of a bar that cleanses gently and hydrates deeply.

Next comes the transformation — the alchemy of the cold process. We mix our oils with a lye-water solution, a delicate step that requires care and balance. Slowly, the blend thickens and turns creamy, beginning its journey from oils to soap. This process preserves the natural glycerin, leaving each bar rich, moisturizing, and kind to the skin.

Before the mixture sets, we add essential oils and botanicals — lavender buds, ground oats, clays, or herbs — to give every batch its own character and purpose. Then we pour it into molds, where it rests and hardens naturally over the next 24 hours.

Once unmolded and cut by hand, each bar cures for several weeks. During this time, the soap becomes milder, longer-lasting, and beautifully firm.

Every bar is touched by time and care — not rushed or mass-produced. From our hands to yours, it’s more than soap. It’s a small ritual of self-care, made to nurture your skin the way nature intended.
